Two drawings. Full of ambiguities. Both in content and in medium. Looked at from the distance they look very similar with small differences in pattern, resembling woven cloth. Closely inspected they convey two diametrically opposite messages, one saying “I LOVE GEORGE”, the other one “I HATE GEORGE”. Thin rice paper and hand-written words lend extremely analog, traditional look to both drawings, which were both drawn and printed by means of digital image editing: Photoshop, Wacom tablet and ink jet printer. While they appear to be originals, they are endlessly reproducible.
