One of the challenges as photographer is taking images of plants. Either with the narrow depth of field and the fruit or flower in the focus or embedded in their natural environment, plant photographs emphasize their botanical beauty or value. In this series plants are photographed from above. Contrary to humans or animals, the spacial direction of a plant’s own future is relatively determined. By placing camera overhead, I photographed them from a place which they might eventually grow to, meaning from their future.
